Unakula nini wakati wa ujauzito? Lishe wakati wa ujauzito ni muhimu kwa ajili ya afya yako na maendeleo mazuri ya mtoto anayekua tumboni. Zifuatazo ni dondoo za kukuwezesha uwe na lishe nzuri wakati wa ujauzito:
- Jitahidi upate mlo kamili kila siku kwa kupata vyakula vya wanga, protini, mafuta, vitamini, madini na maji ya kutosha.
- Fanya nusu ya mlo wako uwe ni mchanganyiko wa matunda na mboga za majani.
- Tumia nafaka zisizokobolewa kama unga wa dona au mtama, mchele usiokobolewa, mikate ya brown au whole grain cereals.
- Tumia maziwa yenye fafi kidogo( skimmed milk) au maziwa na vinywaji vya soya.
- Chagua vyanzo vyako vya protini zaidi katika samaki, kuku, mayai, jamii ya maharage, soya na karanga.
- Tumia zaidi mafuta ya mimea katika mapishi yako kama mafuta ya alizeti, pamba au mizeituni (Olive oil).
- Punguza vyakula vyenye sukari za kuongeza (hasa artificial sugars) na mafuta kama biskuti, pipi, soft drinks, soda, pipi, ice creams, vyakula vya kukaanga na hot dogs.
- Kunywa maji mengi, zisipungue lita 2.5 kwa siku.
- Mazoezi mepesi kama kutembea kwa dakika 30 kwa siku.
- Epuka matumizi ya pombe kwani yataathiri afya ya mtoto wako.
- Tumia virutubisho ziada (supplements) utakazopata kliniki.
